Hey, I'm Emma.
I'm the founder of The Media Locker, and I help local service-based businesses become more visible, more recognisable and more memorable through Facebook and social media.
I started The Media Locker because I saw so many brilliant business owners feeling like they were constantly falling behind with their marketing. It wasn't that they didn't want to show up, it was just that there seemed to be so much pressure to be everywhere and do everything.
So they'd post consistently for a little while, life would get busy, social media would slip down the list and before they knew it, weeks had passed without posting anything.
I wanted to help change that by taking the pressure away and creating a way of marketing that feels much more achievable.
Since then, I've had the privilege of working with businesses across all sorts of industries, from builders and estate agents to cafés, photographers, therapists and healthcare professionals. And one thing I've learnt is that no two businesses are the same, so their marketing shouldn't be either.
One of my favourite parts of what I do is getting to know the people behind the business. Understanding what makes you different, who you're trying to reach and how you naturally communicate means I can create content that genuinely sounds like you. The aim is never to make you fit into a marketing template. It's to help your business stand out by being itself.
When we work together, I want it to feel like you've gained another member of your team. Someone who's thinking about your marketing while you're busy looking after your clients and running your business, so you don't have that constant feeling that you should probably be posting something.
